Traditional German Song about Springtime: Nun Will der Lenz uns Grüßen

Hey guys, this is one of the most popular, and in my opinion the most beautiful, German spring song. 'Lenz' is an old way to say spring, in German. The title translates as ' Now, spring wants to greet us'.

The lyrics are from Carl Ströse (1878) and the melody from Gustav Weber (1886). The poem by Ströse was inspired by the medieval poet Neidhart von Reunetal (Diu zît ist hie).
