DURATION: 18m59s -- Weekends are mostly for reading (if not on film sets -- even reading on film sets!) and for delving into tall stacks. It's those very subjects I *don't* know much about -- or as much as I wish to know -- that I'll research over this pair of days.
So, as I was digging further into Andrei Soldatov and Irina Borogan's excellent investigative piece, THE RED WEB: The Kremlin's Wars On The Internet (http://bit.ly/2HCZ2bK) on the weekend, it reminded me of my thoughts on the concept of "passage of time," and how our coming generations aren't always best-suited to managing this fungible treasure to the best of their ability. Part of the fault for that resides with us for not showing them way, as it had been shown to me when I was their age. Mentorship -- it would seem -- despite its ubiquity online, isn't adhered to as stridently as it was in my generation.
