LORD OF THE RINGS - (FINALE - THE TWO TOWERS)

This edited version (15 minutes) includes the important themes and scenes from the last hour of Peter Jackson's classic rendition of the Lord of the Rings – The Two Towers.

Portrayed is:
1) The Defense of the Rohan fortress of Helms Deep
2) The Ents Go To War
3) The Destruction of Isengard

While J.R.R Tolkien strongly expressed LOTR was in no manner "allegory", the story draws many parallels that mirror Tolkien's strongly held Christian beliefs which are integrated into the fabric of the story and characters. It is these parallels the propels LOTR to speak freshly to each generation, in timeless fashion, since its publication in 1953.

Added is some commentary and context to some scenes, as well as the inclusion of one modern day comparison: The destruction of the Dam of Isengard, releasing the cleansing flood to destroy the evil Saruman’s underground contraptions of war, to the predicted “taking-down” of the 3 Gorges Dam in China.
