A Scotsman wearing the Welsh flag reads an Anglo-Saxon poem from an unknown poet, that was perhaps written between 975 and 1025 AD, some good hundreds of years ago, but of course with an excellent translation by J.R.R. Tolkien himself and the finest editorial work by his son Christopher,. Being surrounded by jaw-dropping forested vistas and being eaten by swarms of vile blood-sucking mutant-mosquitoes, and also fried under the boiling sun of the hottest month of the year! How much better can it get?! Let's NOT find out!
