How to use many strategies to solve a non-routine problem involving a sequence or series. How many rectangular arrays can be built using x blocks? Finding the 4-digit access-code to a locked door, that is the smallest integer that can be written as the sum of two positive cubes, in two different ways, with sums between 1000 and 2000. Simplifying the problem, drawing a diagram, looking for a pattern, and making a table or organized list. How factors can help us find the number of arrays we can make.
