Mega Phoenix is shoot'em up by Spanish company Creepsoft and published by Spanish company Dinamic. The PC version was done by Iron Byte. Mega Phoenix also came out for Amiga, Atari ST, Amstrad CPC, C64, MSX and ZX Spectrum.
The game is very similar to Namco's Galaga games. The action takes on a single screen, where you move a spaceship left and right while shooting waves of enemies. Enemies appear in a formation at the top of the screen. They move to the left or right for a few second, then go down in spiral. You need to shoot all enemies to proceed. To protect your ship from incoming enemies, you can activate a shield which lasts a few seconds. However, the shield needs to recharge for a while after use.
