This is the only mode for multiplayer. All you got to do is kill a wave of bugs in order to advance to another. If you start a new level from wave one, you have little options to choose which weapons you want to use, so if you want to unlock more then you must complete a certain number of waves. You also unlock new character upgrades as well, and the only difference is that instead of using four nano forge abilities you only use one.
