The PIE 2.0 is ready for vehicle mounting so that testing can begin! It seems to be producing a great deal of power, and I think it could easily break itself if speed was increased too much. Input power is from an old (but still functional) Dewalt 18V VSR cordless drill. This battery pack was worn out, so I gutted it, installed wires, and it will now run directly from a 12 to 24V battery safely.

The timing May need a bit of "tweaking", but it seems fairly close for now.

Now it just needs a mounting and cover (maybe from the PIE 1.0) so it can be real-world tested.

It does still jam some times during start-up, but since it is not most of the time like it was, that problem can be dealt with after the round of testing. After all, it is a prototype and I am not going "sweat the small stuff".
