Archaeologists have previously dated the "Magic Mountain" site of Golden, Colorado back to 3,000 BC until the most recent discovery at the same archaeological site yielded dates that push the timeline of occupation back to 7,000 BC. The Jindo takes a look at the discovery, the methods used to date the soil, and how human occupation in the area is related to the Younger Dryas event between 12,800 to 11,600 years ago.
