Exploring Churches - St Andrew's in Beddingham, East Sussex

I love exploring the old downland churches. Today i have travelled to Beddingham, a tiny Hamlet off the 27/A26 roundabout between Lewes and Newhaven in East Sussex.

What started out as a small wooden Saxon church and the a Royal Minster, became a Norman church with later extensions. Made primarily of local flint, with a bell tower later added from the stonework of the demolished Lewes Priory, it has been widened with addition isles over time.
