Ooooooooh, so that’s what that number in the corner does that goes up to III. It lets you use multiple sub weapons at a time. If I had actually watched the full video instead of skipping around I would have realized that. Of course, I really was only looking for how to do damage and not a full guide for how to beat him, so I was skipping through the guide on purpose to avoid spoiling too much of how to beat him. It dawned on me that the sound affect of whipping him in his legs meant he was taking no damage (even though I could have sworn that he was on earlier runs) so that’s what tipped me off on how to beat him in the end. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VkG05DpbytY
