NASA DART Mission Set to Deflect Asteroid on September 26 - First Test of This Kind (Video #2)

NASA will test their ability to redirect an asteroid by crashing a satellite into it on Monday 9/26, working with the Planetary Defense Coordination Office. This video was from 11/12/21. The actual launch date of the DART Mission was 11/23/21. DART stands for Double Asteroid Redirection Test.

Here's a fun fact: The movie "Don't Look Up", a dark comedy about a comet heading towards earth that can't be stopped was initially released in NYC on 12/5/21, then released by Netflix on 12/24/21. In the movie, they introduce the Planetary Defense Coordination Office as a "real" office. Coincidence? Hmm.. I had no clue it existed. All seems kind of strange...yet not surprising, just another day in clown world.
