Cassini's Cosmic Dust Analyzer

Dust is something we normally think of as useless. When we collect it it’s usually to throw it in the trash. However this is not the case for the Cassini-Huygens spacecraft. One of its instruments was designed specifically to collect dust. Cosmic dust. And that’s the topic of this video. How the spacecraft collects this dust and what information can be gathered from it.
