Production of the C4 Corvette ran from 1983 to 1996, and was a front mid-engine 2 door coupe, in either Targa top or convertible form.

Power came from a 350 cu in (5.7L) V8, which was either mounted to 4-speed automatic, 4-speed auto-with over drive, and a 6-speed ZF manual.

Power ranged from 205 bhp to 330 bhp, with the ZR-1 having a top speed of 180mph and a 0-60 time of 4.4 seconds.
