For the Price Alert stuff the representative I spoke to said that apparently Price Alerts are some of the hardest to fix on Amazon. In order to get it resolved, they have to forward the case on to the team that monitors Amazon's price fluctuations and algorithms, and that sending any information that we have, and they have to check a few things too on their end.

Since our price was set at $X for about 6 months, they were able to prove that the price isn't fluctuating and that it is the correct price. They said having an external seller website with the price helps too. It's essentially something that's only fixed on the back end. Also an update to the product might also be necessary after 48 hours once they fix the listing.
