3D Printing a Sluice Box for Gold Prospecting

and tested a small stream sluice box. It only cost me $19 AUD (about $14.50 USD) in materials (ABS plastic) and few days printing time (both cost and time could be minimised if I can manage to stop the warping problem). Its lightweight, tough enough, and despite the less than ideal conditions and truncated test it proved it can can catch very fine gold. All things considered Im willing to tentatively call it a success at this point...pending further tests when the weather improves. So far I'd say that this sluice would be a great cost effective addition to any budding prospectors arsenal.
