This was a super fun run practically circumnavigating Mt. Bierstadt. I departed from the top of Guanella Pass and ran the Rosalie Trail until it intersected with the Abyss Lake Trail. I took that trail up a bunch of switchbacks and finally reached Bierstadt's East Ridge. From there, awesome Class 3 ridge climbing led me to the summit. A quick three miles down the West Slopes and I found myself tired and happy back at the trailhead.
