“…I think I drew the short straw in being judged by her.
She said she felt ‘uncomfortable’ doing it, you know; but none the less did it. Because apparently there’s some legislation that if a doctor is a danger to their patients – and I was considered a danger to my patients. And because they had determined that I was a danger to my patients then I had to be struck-off, or suspended.
I was suspended on the 2nd of March and I had to go over to my surgery and close the doors; make my staff redundant (give them six weeks notice) – and of course you can’t just get a good G.P. in, my practice had to be strewn to the four winds…
…It kind of hurts me.”
