The chief rabbi had a pure heart. He heard the story of our Prophet(saw) but he didn't know if he(saw) was a true prophet or not.

When Prophet (saw) moved towards Madina, on the way, he arrived at Quba. The rabbi was eagerly waiting for him(saw).

At last, Prophet(saw) came to Quba. This rabbi gazed the face of our Prophet (saw) and realized that this man is in fact the true prophet of Allah.
