2017 Fender Squier Bass VI - Seymour Duncan Pickups and Series Wiring Mod - Clip 6 Final Assembly!!!
In video six of series, I re-install StayTrem stainless arm to tremolo, and re-assemble unit using all stainless fasteners. Tremolo tension adjustment screw is replaced with socket head stainless bolt and nylon washer for easier adjustments. Vintage white tip on arm was replaced with black tip. My plan was to try LaBella Bass VI FLAT wound stings on this setup, but core of one of these snapped like a twig during installation. That's okay, I think wound rounds are better suited for this Bass VI. Flat wounds also had wrapping on ends that did not play well with locking tuners. $50 thrown into trash; new 767-6S round wounds installed, back to business. Saddle intonation screws on StayTrem bridge were replaced with socket head stainless bolts with nylon washers for easier adjustment. 😈
Background noise is Ibanez Artcore AS73 semi-hollow, played through NUX Solid Studio IR/Amp Sim, Boss RT-20 rotary pedal, NUX Time Core Delay, and DigiTech Polara Reverb.

Sniffer Disclaimer: No guitar NEEDS modification. What makes guitar sound good to YOU is play guitar way it sounds good to YOU! (In my case, my playing always sound very bad, haha.) I modify guitar because I like to modify guitar. I build guitar because I like to build guitar. Some persons it seems may be "triggered" by expensive components installed to inexpensive guitar. Don't be upset. It is fun. And most of all, young person who wants to buy guitar should not be discourage from inexpensive guitar model, because internet video makes them think this guitar needs new components right from start. They don't. None do. If you want to just play guitar, just open box, and play guitar. It will be great. 😈
