Dave Clemo & Karen Angela- The Letter

This is Dave & Karen’s version of the 1960s single by the Boxtops. It was included in our 2016 limited edition CD.
Karen and I worked together for a couple of years beginning in 2015. We immediately hit it off with our audiences, playing open mikes and a couple of mini festivals, so we decided to make a limited edition CD of songs from our live set.
Our collaboration ended in 2017 through my continued ill health. We were recording a collection of original songs which sadly may never see the light of day. Karen is a very talented singer and a lovely person and I wish her all the best in her future endeavours.
On this recording I played guitar, mandolin, bass and tambourine and my good friend Rai added some cajon. I recently found the original recording sessions on a hard disc and remixed the track, adding the sound of a hotel desk bell here and there.
I put the video together using some footage that I found on the net. All credit to the original poster.
