The battle of Trafalgar was one of the turning points of the Napoleonic wars, taking place in 1805 as Napoleon prepared for an invasion of Britain. For this goal, he marshalled a large fleet of his own plus an allied Spanish fleet to sail with him to break the British blockade on the Mediterranean sea. The Royal Navy was the most powerful in the world, having almost complete dominance over the oceans with a well experienced officer corps, vast numbers of top rate Ships of the line and Genius Strategists such as Admiral Horatio Nelson. By stark contrast, the French navy was weak. While it still had large amounts of powerful ships, most competent leaders in the navy were purged, allowing for discipline and tactics to slip far behind the British. The battle began when the French and Spanish line of war were intercepted by Nelsons fleet, organised into two columns of its own, sailing perpendicular to the Franco-Spanish line. The British ships crashed into the line, firing salvo after salvo into the unprotected forward and aft sections of the enemy ships, causing mass casualties. But before the battle could be concluded, a French sniper shot Admiral Nelson once in the chest, he was carried below the decks of his flagship HMS Victory where he died.

Video style was inspired by PiscatorLager but since he's stopped uploading and probably will not use bitchute, I'm choosing to use his style.
