A barrel aged Scotch Berry Ale from North Mountain Brewing co. Aged in Whiskey Barrels from Magnum Liquor. Brewed and Bottled By N. Mtn Brewing co.
10.4 ABV, SRM is 29.2 and the IBUs are 30. An unfiltered ale, allow to settle before pouring.
On the nose she is she doesn't have a heavy boozy or scotch aroma. You get the cask and blackberries but nothing off putting. Initial hit is sweet and smoky so delicious. A nice mouth fill and she finishes off dirty and delicious on the back end. So good. Complex, heavy and interesting. This is a work of art.
