Yon describes how American citizens were left abandoned in Afghanistan:

“We had 3 jets on the ground, that were private jets paid for by a friend of mine’s team, his name is Rick Clay (PlanB) […] The US military was not letting civilians with American passports out. Our biggest problem for getting people out is the US GOVERNMENT – it’s not the Taliban. I know that sounds crazy.”
