All of a sudden a sunny day, barely any wind. In the midst of constant rain, wind and monotonous gray. Taking the opportunity we headed out to the white pearl in the sea, the picturesque tiny island Åstol. Which is just outside of the bigger neighboring island Tjörn. Sunshine, blue sea, some sandwiches and chocolate, it all made for a long needed outdoors satisfaction. Barely a day in late October, a chance given and a chance taken. My child confirms it was all good. What more was needed and what more could have been given? I’ll remember that sandwich forever. Like we always do when we get out and get out as often as we can.
