Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report” talks to Yoram Hazony, author of “Conservatism: A Rediscovery”, about how liberalism has failed, how to save Judeo-Christian family values, and why not having religion in schools may have a higher cost than we anticipated. In this clip Yoram discusses how a focus on secularism and not allowing bibles in schools has had many unintended consequences. He argues that by focusing on the separation of church and state and religious liberty we may have severed any ties between the next generation and the bible, which is the foundational text for western civilization. He argues that we need to do a better job of explaining to people the importance of these texts and how they are partially responsible for the freedoms that we all have today.
