Nomad Defense Magwell It Has Finally Come

Nomad Defense was the first to release a Gen 4 Glock compatible frame. This frame boasted better ergonomics, cleaner removable backstraps, and very nice indexing ledges. Although it had a slight flare to the grip it was in need of a magwell. In shot show 2019 a prototype was on full display, I have to say I am glad it did not come to market. The first version fell off and Nomad began to work with Steel City Arsenal. Steel City came through and managed to produce and magwell and back strap combo that is right at $79, yup when others are selling magwells for over $100 this one came in at $79 at the time of this video.

I wold say that is a pretty good price. It is the medium backstrap at this time, although more options may become available. The back strap and the magwell are aircraft grade aluminum and have a really nice feel to them. The magwell portion has great lines, just enough flare to it and is still easily concealed. In the coming months Nomad is also going to be releasing a full sized variant of the Nomad9 frame.
