There is also a Executor mode (not shown, but present at the time) that allows the AI to build everything for you while you take direct control of ships and robot units (in the same fashion as the CEO control).

Build up a large fleet, take control of resource rich sectors and assassinate your competition using robot dropships, cruisers and economic warfare (make enough of a product before your opponents). Main issues include slow down due to on screen activity (more ships make the situation worse), annoying menu sound effects and painfully slow ships. Skirmish mode has six galaxy types to discover (also available in multiplayer) and has the option to bypass the need to gather resources, speed up production and unlock all resources for those looking for quicker matches. This is a must given the game lacks any save feature. Rather pricey for what is on offer, but it is a decent framework for what is to come.
