{IMAGINING} Patients Who Want To Be Tethered

along with that title, what some of my words would have been:

sticks and stones may break your bones ...
stigma-labels harm, too ...
yet a sad that pains the most:
when "experts" make inert-you

copy birds ... it's time to preen
the ones who teach as they mislead
from the choked by "helping" hands
who would like a free-mind again

patients who want to be tethered ... count-as practically never;
but there are thousands ... with abuse not a-nnoun-ced

Sticks and stones can break your bones,
Even names can hurt you
But the thing that hurts the most
Is when a man deserts you
Don't you think it's time to weed
The leaders that no longer lead
From the people of the land
Who'd like to see their sons again?
Soldiers Who Want To Be Heroes number practically zero
But there are millions who want to be civilians
