How to Chalk Paint Furniture: Chalk Paint Additive & Wax
Hey Everyone!
It's been a while. There is a lot going on over here in Charleston and it seems, if it's not one thing, it's another. Not only is my shop still not up and running, I also noticed a major lack on energy in me and that is not normal. So after speaking to my doc, it looks like I may have a thyroid issue and then to top it all off, my husband and I got the Coof (covid). So needless to say, I had a rough few months. But don't worry, I WILL overcome and get back on the ban wagon.
My plan was to start my Farmhouse Dining table build, but the coof happened. So instead, I decided to share how I transformed an old plain nightstand into a new piece of awesomeness! I painted the first nightstand a day before I tested positive and was not able to start the second one. So instead of just finishing this project off camera, I decided to share my steps with you.
I know there are a TON of Chalk Paint videos out there and honestly, they may be better and more informative. but I wanted to share with you my steps. Simple, easy and you don't need anything. I used what ever I had on hand and it worked. Now, if you are planning on flipping only furniture to make a profit and not just something for your home, I would definitely see what the professionals do so you can get more bang for your buck. but if you just want to spruce up something in your house, I hope you give my method a try. You won't be disappointed.
So sit back and enjoy this video. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I'm always here for you guys! Thanks for sticking around and for all of your support. Please like, Share and Subscribe and don't forget to follow me on IG. Again, thank you for everything and have an amazing day!
Michelle
