In I Corinthians 12, the human body is used as a comparison against the local church. It speaks of individual members of the body- the eye, the ear, etc. - as being highly important to the rest of the body. It reminds us that we all have an important local role to play, and we can all contribute! Other passages of scripture are also provided for the viewer to consider.
