Mehrere Wochen nach der Flutkatastrophe lud BILD Betroffene, Helfer, Helden der Flut in die beliebte „Eifelstube“ nach Ahrweiler ein. Auch das Kultlokal, in dem an Wochenenden vor der Flut kaum ein Tisch zu bekommen war, wurde von der Katastrophe schwer getroffen.

Schnell wurde an diesem Abend klar, wie sehr die Menschen in den Flutgebieten im Stich gelassen werden. Was sie den BILD-Reportern erzählten, ist schier unglaublich: kein Gas bis März 2022, warmes Wasser erst Ende 2021 und kaum Hilfe von den Behörden beim Wiederaufbau.

Da kam viel Wut, Verzweiflung und auch Enttäuschung zutage.
