Nemos Music Box explores water and memory by combining the images of Captain Nemo and Finding Nemo with the observations of Dr Masaru Emoto, Jules Verne and Nicola Tesla.
I start with the idea that Captain Nemo and Finding Nemo are images of anxiety in a violent world and I anchor the rest of the images, quotes and memes with a quote from Jules Verne: "The sea is everything."
This is a fairly thick video visually and semantically and more than one view is needed, to see all that it contains.
I hope this video turns my viewers on to new ideas that otherwise would not have occurred, and as with all good music, those ideas, though they stir the pot, will themselves end in rest.
A final note, though not made in the video, our eyes are water; the eyes are "oceans," as metaphor and allegory, and perhaps Dr Masaru Emoto proved it as a more literal truth than a poetic truth?
