Waltz-Fantasia in B minor by Mikhail Glinka

Russian composer Mikhail Glinka originally composed this waltz-fantasia for solo piano in 1839. He would later adapt the work for orchestra in 1845, however the copy of this adaptation is lost. The composer would again adapt the work for orchestra in 1856, and it is that version that is performed today.

The work is comprised of a single movement.
