An uplifting and inspiring song for all genres on the hope of the future, when the world will one day be at peace. Based on the famous passage in Isaiah 11:6 "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them."
The inspiration for this song is based off Isaiah 11 with special focus on verse 6 which says "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them."
Isaiah 11:6 for over the past few centuries has been paraphrased in pictures, sermon titles, popular secular songs and other similar venues as "the lion will lay down with the lamb" as referring to the Millennial reign of Jesus Christ. Isaiah 11:6 is just one of many verses in the bible that has been misquoted and over time, people have come to believe these misquotes as truth. My desire in writing this song, was to do right by the Lord Jesus Christ and to correctly portray what Isaiah 11:6 actually says. The song is based off the entirety of Isaiah 11 with special focus on verse 6. My hope, is Jesus Christ will use this song to lead others to Him.
