12/16/17 - The U.S. department of defense has released video of a navy jet finding an unidentified flying object. One of the pilots, David Fravor, told CNN that what he saw looked like a “40 foot long tic-tac” maneuvering rapidly and changing its direction. The video, captured in 2004 near San Diego, was released as part of the program only recently acknowledged by the department of defense. The advanced threat identification program looked into reports of unidentified flying objects. But funding for the program ended in 2012, according to the New York Times.
