Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius has followed up his disastrous Champions League final performance with another blunder, this time during a friendly against Tranmere Rovers on July 10. This clip by a fan at the game shows Karius spill a free kick from Oliver Norburn straight into the path of Jonny Smith, who scored to reduce Liverpool’s lead to 3-1. The game finished 3-2 to Liverpool. Karius gained infamy for his performance against Real Madrid in the Champions League final, during which he rolled a ball out to Real striker Karim Benzema, who scored into an open goal, and then let a long-distance effort from Gareth Bale slip through his fingers.
