YouTube recently ramped up their censorship policies, they removed millions of videos, removed thousands of accounts and demonetised thousands more.
Meanwhile anyone outside the mainstream media has their videos suppressed and hidden by the algorithm.

This can’t be good for the site, YouTube grew by giving people the kind of content they wanted: mainly edgy independent creators presenting new ideas in unique ways.

Now, instead of giving people what they want, they are trying to force feed “authoritative sources” (read: lying fake news mainstream media) down people’s throats.

It’s a fast track to making the site boring.
