I, Pedobot?: The Disturbing Case of David Asimov

David Asimov, son of famed SF author Isaac Asimov (I, Robot; The Foundation Series; creator of The Three Laws of Robotics), was given a Jeffrey Epstein-style sweetheart deal after he was caught with more than a thousand highly-disturbing videos displaying the abuse of children and animals according to numerous reports linked below. Despite the fact that reports say Asimov had the largest child porn processing center in California, he got off with little more than a slap on the wrist.

The reason this is important for the Satanic Panic Reconsidered series that I am working on is that it once again demonstrates a key truth counter to the Witch-hunt Narrative or Satanic Panic mythos: despite the fact that society says it reviles child abuse, child sex trafficking, human trafficking, child pornography, and so on, the reality is that all too often next to nothing happens to those involved in the commission of those types of crimes.

This fact is both painful and powerful.
