In quotes because I don't believe it's unintentional.
Again an important point to make: lack of empathy and selfishness are far more benign than these covert, occult abusers who go out of their way to devise elaborate schemes to con and torture select targets. Their zero empathy becomes dangerous because of how predatory they are. A sociopath as it's commonly understood may be harmless and even a valuable asset in a community. These malignant narcs are pure evil. Pure evil was an expression by one who was habitually projecting what it was onto everything and everyone else. It was pure evil with a whole repertoire of trickery and acting to conceal this horror. A predatory psychopath.
Those of you espousing the merits of Might Is Right, what is that but a world run into the ground by evil monsters using every trick possible to achieve dominion?
A relevant comment as well by Reese Daniel:
"That's what Jesus was referring to in the verse about "Whoever gives one of these little ones a cup of cold water in My name will by no means lose his reward." "Little ones" refers to His people (empaths who love the Truth) and "in His name" means in the Truth. When we go to our extended relatives and tell them the truth, if they stick up for us or even just empathize with us and comfort us in some small way, that is "giving us a cup of cold water in the name of the Truth." In my case, every relative shunned me and turned away from me. I never heard from any of them again. My narc mother and enabling father had successfully poisoned their minds against me. They chose to believe the lies over the (obvious) Truth. Because it's easy and doesn't require them to do anything except to shun me. That's a lack of integrity and an example of following the wide gate that leads to destruction in Matthew 7:13."
