France: Rocks and tear gas fly at Paris' 17th week of 'Yellow Vest' protests
Police used tear gas to disperse a group of protesters during the 17th Yellow Vests march in Paris on Saturday, after a tense stand-off during which some threw rocks at the police.
Footage shows a group of protesters gathered around the police line, chanting anti-capitalist slogans and insulting policemen. After receiving rocks, police used tear gas to disperse the group.
A protester was also detained by police, as seen in the footage.
The 'Yellow Vest' movement, one of the largest French demonstrations in recent history, has marched every Saturday since November 2018.
It started as a protest against a proposed fuel tax, but has since become a wider anti-government movement.
