I sat out to challenge myself to ONLY take macro photos on our most recent hike. So instead of taking a more versatile lens, I only brought along my Canon 100mm f/2.8L USM 1:1 macro lens and had to shoot everything from that perspective. This unique challenge forced me to take a different look at my surroundings and come up with new ways to showcase the area.
