Professor Donald Livingston and Steve Cunningham discuss Secession - Valuable Information Here
If you want to watch an intellectual discussion about an idea whose time has come, this is the video for you. Take notes, because there are arguments for and against secession and you need to be capable of handling those for and against, if they are on the opposite side of the fence. We should not blind ourselves to any idea. We should always consider solutions and in this video, you're going to hear some strong arguments for secession that you might never have heard. The video is loaded with historical information, all of which allows us to better understand secession. I counted the benefits of secession before seeing this video and found many, many, many burdens lifted from the people. Income taxes, interest on money created out of thin air, wars, invasions, occupations, rights removed, the Patriot Act, a corrupt Congress, bankers controlling everyone with money, rigged elections, federal regulations, federal laws, land grabbed by the federal government in states that should retain ownership of these now federal lands.
What if 50 states formed a union and did not invite the federal government? What if US states invited Canadian states and Mexican states or countries of South and Central America to join us, without any domination by a federal government? We could form a union of North, Central and South American states and be stronger than ever without all the wasteful spending on 900+ military bases and endless wars, invasions and occupations.
We should be free to discuss these ideas and secession, as a solution. Nobody in this discussion is forced to do anything. We just contemplate leaving, as a result of not having any say in anything. There is a point at which a single authority presides over too much territory and too many people and the people are enslaved, with all rights taken away. This is not what we want. The federal government completely disregards the US Constitution and the only time they ever pull it out of the trash and wipe off the coffee grounds, potato peels and banana skins, is when they want to use it to say we can't secede from the union. We should be free enough to secede. It is our right to govern ourselves. Is the USA a one-way trap? Why is that free?
This video is a chance to learn some history from a professor in an interview. The education will change your view on many things, perhaps. Why don't you watch it?
