3D BINAURAL AUDIO IS AMAZING! - 3Dio Free Space Review (Binaural Microphone with Ears)

Today's video gets a little weird......
My time with the 3Dio FreeSpace Binaural Microphone has been a heck of a lot of fun. This is a fascinating mic with some pretty awesome results when used in the right circumstances. I'm no ASMR pro, so I took it to a state park to capture the wonderful sounds of nature!

Again, I'm not really someone who you want doing ASMR - so this 3Dio Binaural mic review will have some minor ASMR testing, but otherwise focuses on nature sounds. Water dripping, streams, walking on leaves and gravel, and so on - along with physical characteristics of the microphone.

"Binaural recording is the process of capturing audio using two microphones that are shaped like human ears. Binaural microphones capture audio the same way your real ears hear sounds. The ears (pinnae) dramatically alter the incoming sound waves, but our brains understand these alterations as directional cues. In addition, the time delay between the ears gives us proper left/right directional cues. When you listen to binaural recordings using headphones, the result is a natural three-dimensional sound that gives the listener the sensation of being in the space where the audio was recorded."
