Reese Fabro, a Hawaii resident, produced a negative covid test result at Oahu Mexican Grill only to be denied the right to dine there with his friend from Japan. He was confused because the news has been repeating the new rules, "Must produce a negative covid test or vaccine pass," but here at this restaurant, they decided to scrap the negative covid test option leaving the vaccine pass as the only way to eat at their restaurant.

As a business owner himself, he can sympathize with businesses in a position like this but the guidelines are not clear and people are waking up to a less free country than what they're used to. Reece also talks about how other restaurants are struggling during this time period. He explains the trouble he had to go through waiting several hours for his covid test results only to find that some businesses only care if you have a vax pass. The manager in this video explained that the reason they took the initiative to scrap the negative test option is because they don't want to make a mistake with the test expiration and possibly get shut down by the tyrannical liquor license people.
