First, I made a clear distinction between potentiality and action. If you missed that, you didn't watch the video, or you only heard what you wanted to hear.
Second, the reason rape is analogous to hypergamy is based on reproductive success for both genders. Male reproductive success is limited only by his access to females, and rape ensures him the most sexual access. Female reproductive success is limited by her access to resources. She NEEDS a man to protect her and provide for her while she's pregnant and nursing. This is true in animals as well as humans and is nigh-universal. Women judge men based on their resources and utility, period. That's female nature in a nutshell. To use the extreme example, the best strategy for female reproductive success is hypergamy, to acquire the resources of as many men as possible, or simply move-up from one partner to a better partner that can provide her with more as they become available.
Third, the people who objected to my analogy of male rape with female hypergamy insisted that they would never rape a woman, but they seem to all use the example of a random passed-out woman and not marital-rape, which was the EXAMPLE I USED IN THE VIDEO! Marital rape was NEVER a crime in ANY CULTURE THROUGHOUT HUMAN HISTORY ... until the 20th century. English Common Law recognized that a husband had the right to demand sex from his wife, and her consent was implied as part of the marriage contract itself. Just look at the Wikipedia entry that charts marital-rape laws.
