Testing The Isiler Portable Induction Cooktop

Two cups of room temp water boils in 2 min 30 sec. Not too shabby.

So, In my efforts to become more efficient, I purchased this Isiler Induction Cooktop from Amazon. The price was under 40 dollars. I was hoping it would work with my Harbor Freight inverter, however it does not. It just buzzes when I plug it in. Probably because my inverter is not a pure sine wave inverter. Whatever the hell that means.
Still, it should run on my generator and hopefully I can save a few pennies in the meanwhile by using it in place of my regular electric stove as much as possible.
