Healing Surfer’s Shoulder with Stem Cells

Hi it’s Josh with dream body clinic. In this video you’re going to see a returning patient. He is one of our radical surfer dudes in California. This guy loves to surf and has been surfing his whole life. I don’t know if you’ve ever gone surfing, but it is really tough. I’ve done it quite a few times. We’ve got great surfing spots here in Puerto Vallarta, but it is difficult. You’ve got to swim all the way out there and then you got to catch a wave. Personally my cardio is terrible and I’m too heavy. I am not great at surfing, but this guy is an amazing surfer and it’s taken its toll on him.

We actually fixed his shoulder last year. He was doing amazing. One day he was playing with his grandkids, threw a baseball, and injured his rotator cuff pretty bad. So he’s back again here at DBC. The stem cells are amazing at healing so they healed him up. His shoulder was great, but you know, anybody can get injured. You just don’t know when you’re going to make the wrong movement.
We basically regenerated his shoulder, but if you just kind of overworked it this can happen. So he’s back again to get healed. This is how the STEM cells work. They will heal like things like rotator cuffs, torn labrums. As long as it’s not completely torn, they can heal it. Cartilage, ligaments, tendons, all of that.
We can get you feeling better but you can re-injured it just like you can a refresh training. You got to be careful. You got to take it a bit easy, but most people about three months after treatment are feeling perfect. You can get back to their normal routine. Unfortunately this patient had to come back again.
Fortunately he comes here every year anyway, so we got him fixed. Give him about three months. He’ll be out there surfing again.
