Doki Doki Literature Club Plus - Playthrough Part 1

Started playing Doki Doki Literature Club Plus - a visual novel masked as a regular dating sim, but with some pretty dark undertones. I know about the twist and I have started playing the previous version on PC, but I didn't complete it since I generally don't enjoy the lack of gameplay in VNs, so it's a semi-blind playthrough. The art is pretty good and the dialogue is well written. The basic premise is that you join an after school literature club and basically decide to stay because of the cute girls in it (simp!). Sayori is the air-headed childhood friend trope, but she's likeable and has great people skills. Yuri is the introvert shy girl, who is interested in fantasy and horror. I find her constant apologies rather annoying. Natsuki is the tsundere loli character who is basically a raging cunt and a nightmare to talk to, so I'll be ignoring her as much as possible (borderline women - not even once!). Monika seems pretty balanced and collected and her dialogue and poems include some hints of 4th wall breaks. Speaking of poems reading them is the only club activity so far and when you choose words for yours you appeal to a particular girl. I'm basically choosing words that sound cool, so we'll see where that will take me. In terms of extra content there are side stories unlocked as you choose different options for the poems and they serve to get the know the characters better. There's a operating system overlay featuring the game's files for future playthroughs.
