As we close out the book of Amos we encounter his 5th vision, the judgment and restoration of the northern kingdom. The parallels with the United States today are uncanny. Amos wrote to the northern kingdom of his day, the Word of God speaks to us through Amos today. The imminence of judgment upon our nation is terrifying to those who trust in their own power to overcome. But to those that rely completely upon the Lord are comforted knowing we are in His hands.

Trust in God with all your heart and he will see you through any hardship. But don't be mislead, just like God judged Israel, he will judge our nation and yes, even our "churches."

Repent and be saved. it may be too late for the nation but not for you.
